As we become settled in a routine of meditation, we discover how silent prayer brings peace to our life.
But it can be challenging to develop a regular practice when you’re meditating alone. That’s why many people tell us they’ve been able to do so not just through discipline, but through community.
By joining our online group, they’ve discovered the learning, support and connection that helps a regular practice take root.
We host free online sessions every Saturday from 08:30–09:30 (UK time) and Wednesday from 20:00–20:45 (UK time). Each gathering includes a short teaching, 20 minutes of silent meditation and some group conversation. They’re free and open to all.
Each week, many people gather from our home country, England, and other parts of the world. The group includes people of different ages, backgrounds and beliefs – all are welcome.

Meditation from the Christian wisdom tradition is an invitation to turn toward the ground of love and peace at the centre of our being.
Becoming the wise witness of our thoughts and feelings, rather than simply reacting to them, allows us to let go of the unhelpful stories we tell ourselves – about ourselves and life. Gaining insight and freedom, we can relate to life from a place of greater peace and compassion. We begin to see things as they are – as sacred – that God is our being.
Over time, we (and those around us) begin to notice the fruits of the practice manifesting in our daily lives, especially in our relationships. St. Paul described these as the Fruit of the Spirit: “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, fidelity, gentleness and self-control” (Gal 5:22–23).
